World’s greatest snow machines

The Sherp ATV is the epic snow machine for buyers seeking the best bang-for-the-buck option. It looks like something you’d find in your kid’s toy box but it’s at least as capable as any of the vehicles on this list. The huge tires allow it to drive over reasonably tall obstacles like snow banks while a fully sealed body lets it float on water – you can, theoretically, drive it over a frozen lake and not have to worry about falling through the ice. Don’t take our word for it, though.

The Sherp uses a Kubota-sourced diesel engine bolted to a five-speed manual gearbox. It can keep moving with only two wheels and, if the elements gain the upper hand, it’s spacious enough to accommodate for four full-sized beds.

Steven Smith: The Guru Helping Kanye West Design His Yeezy Empire

You’re a car guy. What’s it like being in a Sherp?
Oh god, I love the Sherps. I drive him at the ranch all the time.

What’s it like bringing them from Wyoming and having them in the streets of Chicago? How epic was that?
It was epic. Because we’re on the ranch, it’s just freedom, you just roll wherever—you can’t really wreck anything with them because they’ve got the big balloon tires, they float on water. They’re slow, but having them here was really cool because you’re in the city environment, like urban assault. We had the police with us so it’s like we had free reign to go anywhere in them and it was just cool. We just didn’t know if we were going to get down certain side streets and things because they’re so wide, [they might] take off somebody’s mirrors or something like, “Oops, sorry.” But yeah, they’re so much fun. And it was cool being able to deliver something back to Chicago and Kanye’s hometown, and just do something special. It was all last minute planning and we just show up and go, people are like, “Where are you going to be next?” I’m like, “I don’t know. I just go along for the ride.” I was asked if I wanted to go, and I’m like, “Absolutely, that’d be cool.” So the Sherps are fun. And then, I like the Ripsaw tank. I think that’s my favorite, because it’ll go 80 miles an hour and it’s borderline frightening because you can die at it, which I like. I like that thrill. But yeah, Kanye has got the best toys for us. That keeps you inspired.

The best cars, SUVs, and vans to bug out in a disaster or emergency

Born to tackle Siberia, the tundra-wise Sherp ATV is the ultimate all-terrain vehicle because it keeps moving through mud, snow, water (it floats!), and obstacles that would leave other 4x4s stranded. It was designed to survive just about anything nature can throw at it, so it keeps going even if the road doesn’t. The trade-off is that it’s powered by a Kubota-developed, 44-horsepower turbodiesel engine that limits its top speed to 25 mph. It weighs only 2,800 pounds, a figure that makes it about as heavy as a Mini Cooper, so it can be towed with relative ease.

Developed in Kyiv, Ukraine, the SHERP can fit up to 9 people and has a loading capacity of 2,645 lbs, an approach clearance of three feet, can run in water/mud, travel up to 25mph, and is powered by an eco-friendly Doosan D18 engine that provides 55hp/41kW of power. Regarded as the ultimate ATV, the SHERP can often be found in the frigid oil fields of Canada.

The gifted ATV was presented with a custom plaque that read: “For 2 Chainz,” followed by an inscription of Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

SHERP in The SOUTHERN SURVIVAL

“This vehicle will get you out of mud, snow, floods, anything like that. Its the ultimate escape vehicle.”

“So, when you are in water, you deflate the pressure all the way, and it kinda flattens that tire out and creates a paddle effect or whatever. Yeah, it’s freakin’ awesome. Ingenious actually.”
“No matter how many times they tried to get is stuck, they couldn’t”

…the perfect apocalypse survival vehicle

It looks almost like a Tonka toy, with comically huge tires and odd proportions. It weighs a bit less than 3,000 pounds, propelled by a 44-horsepower 1.5-liter Kubota diesel engine. It’s not fast, topping out at 28 mph (3.7 mph on water), but given the terrain it can cover that’s plenty. It comes with a 15.3-gallon fuel tank, enough to run all day, with additional fuel tanks available to let you go on truly epic adventures.

Want to drive over anything? You’ll need the Sherp ATV

Although it has a small 1.5-liter diesel engine that produces a minuscule 44 horsepower, the Sherp weighs about as much as a Toyota Corolla, so it’s just enough to get it up to its 28 mph top speed on land. On water it’ll do 3.7 mph. While not much, that’s a lot more than the aforementioned Corolla can do on water.

What Are Those Huge ATVs Handing Out Kanye West’s Yeezy QNTM Shoes?

The Sherp ATV is a 99-inch-tall behemoth—that’s 11 inches taller than the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4 —that sits on four oversize wheels built for off-roading. It’s 99 inches wide, too. The truck can climb up a 35-degree angle and has 23 inches of ground clearance. It’s powered by a four-cylinder diesel 44-hp engine and a five-speed manual (#savethemanuals). It has a maximum speed of 24.5 mph—and a maximum speed of 3.7 mph on the water, if it comes to that.

Watch Jay Leno and Kevin Hart go off-roading in a Ukrainian ATV

As host of CNBC’s “Jay Leno’s Garage,” the comedian has driven a tank with Arnold Schwarzenegger, done stunt driving with Jamie Foxx and he’s even driven a Tesla Cybertruck with Elon Musk in Musk’s Boring Company underground test tunnel in Los Angeles.

But Leno said one of his favorite (and scariest) excursions was the time he went off-roading with comedian Kevin Hart in a Ukrainian-made ATV called the SHERP.

West’s fleet of ranch vehicles includes 10 SHERP ATVs

In fact, other than the name change, the only thing that seems to visibly mark Kanye’s new ownership are the vehicles: an army of Ford F-150 Raptor pickups, painted an intimidating aftermarket matte black, along with a fleet of 10 imposing SHERP ATVs (also matte-blacked-out)…

The insane Sherp ATV is a machine with 4 huge tires that can also swim

Somehow, it only weighs about 2,900 lbs, or a shade more than a new Toyota Corolla, but with only a 44 horsepower diesel engine, it won’t break 30 mph on land or 4 mph on water. But most vehicles don’t have two top speeds, so we can give it a pass on that one.

Witness the excellence of the two-man Sherp ATV

Huge, self-inflating and patented tyres (1600x600x25) that actually sit proud of the front and rear bodywork mean that the Sherp can mount obstacles of 70cm plus, or possibly do a backflip in the attempt. Breakover angles, as you might have gleaned from the pictures, are pretty radical, and a simple skid-steer system means that it can turn in it’s own length.

Holiday Gift Guide 2019: The Most Over-The-Top Superyacht Toys

Anyone who’s read my stories about “explorer yachts” and “gigayachts” and garden-variety “megayachts” might think a superyacht is the “ultimate billionaire gift.” But, that’s not exactly the case. In my humble opinion, the “ultimate billionaire gift” is in fact, a fully stocked “superyacht shadow vessel” that’s specifically designed to carry all the “toys” a superyacht-owning billionaire would want to “play with” while exploring the most remote places on Earth.

Analyzing And Explaining Kanye West’s ‘Closed On Sunday’ Music Video

Kanye West released his second music video for Jesus Is King, this time for the album’s fourth song, “Closed on Sunday.” While the song has been made popular by its Chick-fil-A reference in the refrain, the video avoided the obvious incorporation of the popular food chain. Instead, we have another Wyoming-focused setting.

It really goes anywhere. You can almost go underwater because it’s sealed.

It’s only 44 horsepower, the top speed is about 25 mph, but 25 is real fast on here in this kind of terrain. Yeah, it’s pretty neat, it’s pretty cool thin.

Are you looking for a ride that can go anywhere?

Over bogs, across frozen lakes, trudging through the woods. If you don’t want anything standing in your way, I’ve found the perfect ATV. It’s the ultimate beast for off-roading – the SHERP.

Name Tony Harrison

sphere Construction

SHERP has been a great tool that has enhanced our ability to find places. To get there faster, get there safer, get there faster and take more equipment with us.

I use the Sherpa to get my staff to their place of work. The biggest advantage of the Sherpa is the safety of my staff. Knowing that you will get home safely and not walk on ice is the most important thing.

The SHERP is faster and holds more capacity than other amphibious vehicles in our fleet. The SHERP’s low ground pressure is ideal for environmentally sensitive areas where low-impact equipment is required, and Brennan is constantly working to minimise our environmental impact.

Innovations and technologies

Tubeless ultra-low pressure tires

Unique ultra-low pressure tyres are a key innovation, specifically designed for SHERP. The four tires are interconnected by a special "eco-circuit" and pumped up by the exhaust gases. Due to this technology, the wheels act as a suspension and allow the car vehicle to overcome any humps and bumps of the expedition routes. The system does not need any air compressor, so it keeps the SHERP light and reliable.

Transmission chain

Design solutions and excellent materials allow achieving a minimum mass at maximum performance of the transported payload. Unlike hydraulic motors and belt drives, a unique experience of using chain gears helps to avoid slippage and sticking on any terrain when the vehicle is driving under extreme conditions.

Eco Friendly Engine

Doosan Infracore diesel engine provides high torque and fuel efficiency with a low level of noise and vibration. The engines are adapted for work in any climate zone, which makes it possible to operate the all-terrain vehicle both in hot desert conditions or on a cold glacier. This eco-friendly, high efficient and optimum performance engine adds value to customer as well as environment.

Top quality manufacturing

Parts are made of DOCOL steel, which is resistant to deformation due to high yield strength (1000 MPa), which indicates its strength and resistance to deformation. The heart of SHERP all-terrain vehicle is the engine of the Japanese company Kubota, which has specialized in the manufacture of high-tech diesel engines for 120 years. The transmission is equipped with a manual gearbox RENAULT (JR5), which has shown its best side in terms of reliability, smooth shifting and gear ratios.

Skid steering

Side-turn steering deprives SHERP of costly vulnerabilities specific to classic steering systems. The friction mechanism employed by SHERP makes turning easier. It is equipped with hydraulic steering system, so less driver efforts are needed when maneuvering. The turning mechanism is reliable and simple.

Fuel tanks in the wheels

SHERP has 58 L (15.3 gal) fuel tanks integrated in each of the wheel disks. When all four tanks are full, total fuel capacity increases by 232 L (61.2 gal), while the internal compartment of the ATV remains available and can be used to store supplies, tools, equipment etc.

The combination of simple solutions and cutting-edge technologies is the basis of the SHERP philosophy. The concept of "amphibious" all-terrain vehicles means shifting easily from land to water without any preparations
